Work Experience
• Construction of MEP projects involving installation of MV & LV switch gears, Oil & Dry type transformers, Diesel engine generators, Distribution boards, Cable management system, quality inspections for client approval. • Co-ordinating with design team for selection of breakers frame rating and cable sizes prior to assigned loads. • Pre-commissioning and commissioning of MV & LV Switch gears, Dry type transformers, SMDB, FDB, Automatic transfer switch(ATS), Uninterrupted power supply(UPS), Diesel generators & SCADA system etc. • Testing and commissioning of protection relays such as Over current (O/C), Earth fault (E/F), Restricted earth fault (REF), Standby earth fault protection (SBEF). • Trouble shooting of all electrical equipment, power, control, battery charger and protection relay. • LV Switchgears trip stimulation such as Instantaneous, Short time and long-time trip as per latest short circuit study by using micro logic trip unit. • Have handled Siemens & Schneider LV SCADA system and interface systems tests. • Loop checking of control system of LV switchgear, motors and VFDs with PLC based and SCADA systems. • Metering instruments of ammeter and voltmeter calibrated by secondary injection test kit. • Testing of bus bars such as continuity test, Contact resistance test and torque test. • Testing of MV cables by using AC High voltage test kit(Very low frequency method) • ATP - Test reports verification / commenting of sub-contractor’s submission before client submission. • Visual inspection and Maintenance of electrical equipment’s such as oil type transformers, LV Switchgears, Sub-Main distribution boards, Final distribution boards etc. • Maintenance & checking of switchgear operating mechanisms and its control functions. • Routine maintenance of diesel generator and ups battery charger. • Preparing inspection Schedule with consultant for system approval. Coordinating with client, consultant, contractor, subcontractor and supplier. • Familiar with LOTO Procedure (Lockout & Tag out verification system). • Familiar with hazardous area classification, hazardous symbols, explosion & flame proof equipment and most common safety practices and rules
